The 3-way stopcock is one of the most fundamental components in IV therapy and hemodynamic monitoring. It allows clinicians to control fluid flow between three ports — opening, closing, or redirecting flow — without disconnecting IV lines or risking air entry.
EKINSUN has been manufacturing custom 3-way stopcocks for medical device companies and distributors for over a decade. Our injection molding facility in Guangdong produces stopcocks to customer specification — from standard configurations to fully custom designs that are not available from catalog suppliers.
Catalog stopcocks are designed for the broadest possible market. If you need a specific handle color for your color-coding system, a non-standard port angle, a particular Luer thread dimension, integrated features like a check valve or sampling port, or your own brand name molded into the body — catalog products cannot meet these requirements.
EKINSUN produces custom stopcocks from new tooling or modifications to existing molds. We discuss your requirements, produce engineering drawings for your approval, and then begin tooling. The result is a product that exactly matches your specification and carries your branding.
If you have an existing stopcock you want to replicate, simply send us a sample and we will reverse-engineer it, create a CAD model, and send it back for your approval. If you have a concept in hand-drawn form, we work from sketches — including dimensions written on paper — to produce the CAD model before tooling begins.
The table below covers the standard configurations we produce. All parameters can be customized — contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Yes. We manufacture stopcocks with custom handle colors to match your clinical color-coding or branding. Standard colors are blue, white, and red. Any Pantone or RAL color is achievable. Color is specified during design and applied to the handle insert during molding.
Luer lock has a threaded collar that locks onto compatible fittings, preventing accidental disconnection — essential for high-pressure or high-risk applications. Luer slip relies on friction and is faster to connect but can pull apart under tension. For contrast injection and arterial lines, Luer lock is recommended.
Yes. Our high-pressure stopcocks are made from high-clarity polycarbonate and rated for power injector pressures used in contrast CT, MRI, and angiography. The clear body allows visual confirmation of air-free connections.
For existing mold designs, MOQ is typically 500 pieces. For new custom tooling, MOQ depends on tooling investment — we discuss this during quoting. We actively work with small medical device companies and distributors.
Yes. Send us an existing stopcock sample and we will reverse-engineer it, produce a CAD model for your approval, then manufacture new tooling and produce parts to match. NDA signed before receiving samples.
