What Is Water-Light Injection (water-light injection / Mesotherapy)?
Water-light injection — known in Chinese aesthetic medicine as water-light injection and internationally as skin hydration mesotherapy — is a minimally invasive procedure in which small volumes (typically 0.01–0.05ml per injection point) of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, PRP, growth factors, or combinations thereof are delivered intradermally using multiple fine needles simultaneously. The result is deep skin hydration, improved skin elasticity, and a luminous "water-light" complexion effect.
The 1ml Luer-lock syringe is the standard unit for this procedure — used either with a manual needle for individual injection points, or loaded into an automatic mesogun device that delivers multiple simultaneous injections at preset depth and volume settings. The glass barrel is strongly preferred over plastic because it allows visual confirmation of product clarity, color, and the absence of particulate contamination before injection.

The most common application globally. Non-cross-linked or lightly cross-linked HA in concentrations of 10–24mg/ml is delivered intradermally at multiple points across the face, neck, and décolletage.
