Pump Replacement Parts

When the OEM impeller is back-ordered for months — or the pump maker is gone entirely — we reproduce the part from your worn sample. Impellers, wear rings, shafts, seal carriers. No drawing needed, MOQ 1.

The Pump Spares Problem

Pumps wear by design — impellers erode, wear rings open up, shaft journals score. The OEM spares route works until it doesn't: the pump is an older model and parts are discontinued; the manufacturer was acquired and the spares line dropped; the quoted lead time is 16 weeks and the process can't wait; or the OEM price for a simple machined ring is ten times what it should be.

We reproduce pump parts from the worn original — measured on CMM, restored to design geometry, manufactured in the original material or an upgrade.

Pump Parts We Reproduce

Impellers

Open and closed centrifugal — vane profile and hydraulic geometry restored from the worn original.

Wear rings

Bore and OD to original clearance; bronze or coated upgrades for abrasive service.

Pump shafts

All journals, keyways, threads and impeller seats to bearing-fit tolerance.

Seal carriers

Pilot bore, face run-out and gland pattern reproduced for mechanical seal fit.

Bearing housings

Bearing bores, seal grooves, vents and drains to original spec.

Casing rings & diffusers

Hydraulic geometry matched to the impeller for original performance.

Gear pump rotors

Matched rotor pairs reproduced to maintain displacement.

Couplings & sleeves

Shaft couplings, spacers and taper sleeves to OEM fit.

Replace the wear ring with the impeller. A new impeller running against a worn ring still leaks internally — head and efficiency stay low. A matched set reproduced together restores original clearance and original performance. We quote both as a set by default.

How It Works

  • Send the worn part — or photos with a known dimension if shipping isn't practical. Tell us the fluid and operating speed.
  • We measure and rebuild the CAD — free, restored to design geometry, not the worn state. See how pump RE works.
  • You approve, we manufacture — machined or cast, balanced where speed requires, inspected on CMM.
  • Order spares in the same run — second and third pieces cost a fraction of the first.

Frequently Asked Questions

+

Usually yes, significantly. A reproduced impeller from your worn sample is typically 2–3 weeks including CAD reconstruction and your approval. Send photos for a quote within 24 hours and we confirm the timeline for your specific part.

+

Often yes. If the original wore quickly — abrasive fluid eating cast iron, chloride pitting on 316 — we upgrade the material: chrome iron for slurry, duplex for seawater, hard-coated surfaces for abrasion. Same geometry, longer life.

+

No. We work from the physical part, not from catalogues. The model number helps for context but the worn part itself — or photos with a known dimension — is what we actually need.

+

Yes, and we recommend it. Pump efficiency depends on the impeller-to-ring clearance. Replacing both as a matched set restores the pump's original performance rather than running a new impeller against a worn ring.
