Parts We Make vs Parts We Don't

✓ We make these

  • Engine and gearbox mounting brackets
  • Bellhousing adapter plates
  • Suspension components (structural, non-safety-critical)
  • Hub flanges and wheel spacers
  • Custom hydraulic line adapters and fittings
  • Body and trim hardware
  • Engine ancillary brackets
  • Bespoke machined fittings — carburettor intakes, manifold flanges, cooling adapters
  • Motorcycle frame brackets and custom components

✗ Outside our scope

  • Brake master / slave cylinders
  • ABS modulator components
  • Airbag systems
  • Steering rack internals
  • Any component requiring type approval or crash testing

Classic and Vintage Vehicles

Parts for pre-war, immediate post-war, and classic vehicles of the 1950s–1980s frequently fall into a supply vacuum: the manufacturer is gone, the specialist restorer doesn't have that specific part, and online searches return nothing. The car is complete except for this one component.

We reproduce from the physical part where it survives — worn, broken, or corroded. Where the part is entirely missing, we work from what it attaches to: the bolt holes it used, the shaft it connected, the surface it sealed against.

Engine Swap and Custom Build Adapter Work

Fitting a modern engine into a classic chassis, or mating components from two different manufacturers, requires precision adapter geometry. We machine bellhousing adapters, gearbox conversion plates, and motor mount conversions from your measurements of the two mating assemblies.

  • You supply both mating components (or accurate measurements of both)
  • We design the adapter geometry to set the correct crankshaft centreline, stack height and pilot diameter
  • The drawing is confirmed with you before machining
  • One-off production — no MOQ

Material matters for engine bay components. Heat cycling, vibration and oil exposure require the right alloy. We typically use 6061-T6 aluminium for brackets and adapters (light, stiff, machines cleanly) and EN24T / 4140 steel for high-load mounting hardware. Let us know the operating environment and we specify the right material.

Process

01

Send photos and describe the application

What vehicle, what part, what it connects to, what the failure mode was. For adapter plates, accurate measurements of both mating faces.

02

Ship the original or mating parts

We measure precisely. For adapter work, both mating components are needed unless you have verified drawings.

03

CAD reconstruction and review

Drawing to your approval — including any changes to the original geometry you want to make.

04

Machine, finish, inspect and ship

Anodised aluminium or zinc-phosphate steel as appropriate. Shipped with inspection report.

Frequently Asked Questions

+

Engine and transmission mounting brackets, gearbox adapter plates, bellhousing spacers, suspension knuckles and arms (structural), custom machined fittings, hydraulic line adaptors, body hardware, hub flanges and wheel spacers, and engine ancillary brackets.

+

Brake master and slave cylinders, ABS components, airbag systems, steering rack internals, and any component requiring regulatory homologation or crash testing. We focus on structural and mechanical parts.

+

Yes — this is a primary use case. Many classic vehicles have no OEM parts supply. We reproduce from the physical part, or from what it mates with if the original is gone. No supplier cooperation needed.

+

Yes. Bellhousing and adapter plate work requires accurate measurement of both mating faces — crank centreline, dowel pin positions, bolt pattern, stack height. We design the adapter from the two mating components. You supply both, or accurate drawings of both.

Classic Car Part Unavailable? We Reproduce It.

No OEM, no drawing, no problem. Send the original or photos and we quote in 24 hours.
