Equipment from different countries and eras rarely shares a thread standard. You end up with a British BSP port on one side and an American NPT or a metric fitting on the other — and the adapter that bridges them isn't on any shelf. EKINSUN machines that adapter to order, with the correct thread and seal on each end.
Give us the two threads (or a sample of each side) and the medium it carries; we make the link that fits and seals.

An adapter only earns its place if it doesn't leak. We machine the correct sealing feature for each standard:
| Thread | How it seals |
|---|---|
| NPT / BSPT | Tapered thread — seals on the thread flanks (PTFE/sealant aided) |
| BSPP (G) | Parallel — seals on a bonded washer, O-ring or 30° cone |
| JIC / SAE | 37° flare cone / O-ring boss |
| Metric | Flat, cone or O-ring depending on the port |
Note that BSPT and NPT look similar but differ in taper and thread angle, so they aren't interchangeable — we machine a true converting adapter, not a forced fit.
Higher-pressure or hydraulic line? See hydraulic adapters for steel, high-pressure builds. Replacing a corroded fitting? Send the sample — we copy from a sample.

Yes — our core job. Tell us the thread on each end (e.g. 1/4" NPT to M12×1.5) or send a sample of each side, and we machine the adapter that joins them in the material you need.
BSPP is parallel and seals on a face/O-ring; BSPT and NPT are tapered and seal on the thread, but their taper and angle differ so they aren't interchangeable. We machine adapters that correctly convert between BSPP, BSPT, NPT/NPTF, metric, UNF, JIC, ORFS and SAE.
We machine the correct sealing feature per end — taper for NPT/BSPT, flat/O-ring boss for BSPP/SAE, cone for JIC. Tell us the medium and pressure and we confirm the seal type.
Brass for general fluid/air/water, 316 stainless for marine and corrosive media, carbon/alloy steel for high pressure, aluminium where weight matters.
Yes — send the old adapter (even worn) and we measure both threads, bore and sealing faces, rebuild the drawing free, then machine. No drawing or part number needed.
Tell us the two threads — that's all we need. Reply in 24h.
Send the thread on each end or a sample. Any standard, any material. No CAD needed. Quote in 24 hours.
