Automotive to marine, industrial equipment to oil & gas — these are the parts buyers bring us most often, organised by industry. If you recognise a part here, we've made something similar and can quote yours within 12 hours from your drawing, sketch or worn sample.
Custom turbo housings, wheel spacers, engine brackets, clutch components and performance parts made to drawing or sample.

View parts →Custom valve bodies, flanges, manifold blocks and downhole components in 4140 steel, 316L stainless and Inconel — made to API or custom spec.
View parts →Custom replacement parts for discontinued models — brackets, bushings, trim clips, steering components reproduced from your worn original with no OEM drawing needed.
View parts →Every industry below has a supply channel that works well for standard components. If your part carries a standard code, buy it — a stocked item is cheaper and usually better than anything reproduced one-off. Custom machining earns its cost in one situation: the part only ever existed inside your machine, your model or your build, and nobody lists it.
The table separates the two. It is worth reading before you send a drawing, because the fastest quote we can give is sometimes "you don't need us for this one".
| Part & industry | In the catalogue? | At EKINSUN |
|---|---|---|
| Rolling bearings, lip seals, belts, chains, standard DIN/ISO fasteners — every industry | Stocked | We don't remake these. A branded bearing costs less and outlasts any reproduction — the ISO code is stamped on the ring |
| Wheel spacers in common PCDs (5×112, 5×120, 5×114.3), 10–25 mm — automotive | Stocked by many suppliers | Buy the stock item. We machine the odd ones: a PCD nobody lists, a hub bore turned to your hub, or a thickness between the steps |
| A4/316 deck fittings and standard rigging hardware — marine | Stocked at chandlers | Buy them there. Our half of marine work is the shaft, hub, pump and seawater-side part that was never a catalogue line |
| ASME B16.5 flanges in standard classes and bores — oil & gas | Stocked | Buy the standard class. We machine the non-standard bore, the transition piece and the manifold block that sits between them |
| Turbo housing, intake manifold or engine bracket for a discontinued variant — automotive & motorsport | No | Cut from billet 6061, 7075 or 4140 to your worn original, a sketch or a photo — no OEM drawing needed |
| Feed nuts, tie bars, cams, gears for a machine whose builder has closed — industrial equipment | Never — it only ever carried a builder's part number | Reverse-engineered from the worn part plus the bore it sits in, MOQ 1. See packaging machine change parts and replacement machine parts |
| Propeller-shaft parts, pump components and bushings in 316L or aluminium bronze, non-standard length — marine | Not in these lengths | Turned to your dimension in 316L, 304 or bronze, single pieces included |
| Thread adapters in size/material combinations nobody stocks — oil & gas, hydraulics | Common brass and 304 sizes are stocked; the rest are not | If your BSP↔NPT pair is a standard one, buy it — see BSP to NPT adapters. We machine the combinations that aren't listed: 4140, large bores, mixed thread pairs |
| Trim clips, brackets, bushings and steering parts for out-of-production models — classic car restoration | Discontinued | Reproduced from your worn original, a fragment or a photograph — see obsolete & discontinued parts |
Ask before you raise a purchase order. Tell us the part and the machine it belongs to, and if it turns out to be a stock line we will say so. Nobody benefits from a machining quote for something a distributor has on a shelf.
The machining is the same everywhere; what differs is which property is allowed to fail last. That single question decides the material and the finish, and it is the fastest way to sanity-check a spec before it becomes a quote.
| Industry | What usually drives the spec | Where we normally land |
|---|---|---|
| Automotive & motorsport | Weight and rotating mass, then heat near the turbo and exhaust side | Aluminium 6061 for brackets and spacers, 7075 where the section has to stay thin, steel where a thread carries the load |
| Industrial equipment | Drop-in fit — the line restarts or it doesn't | Whatever the original was, matched on interfaces first. C45 and 4140 for shafts and cams, bronze for wear faces, POM and nylon for guides |
| Marine & offshore | Standing seawater and galvanic pairing, not peak strength | 316L rather than 304 anywhere salt sits; aluminium bronze for shaft and pump work. 304 in a splash zone is a warranty claim waiting to happen |
| Oil & gas | Pressure rating and documentation, checked before geometry | 4140 and 316L to your stated spec. Where a part needs certified material, we say up front what our partner facility can and cannot certify |
| Motorcycle & powersports | One-off or small-batch, cosmetics visible on the bike | 6061 or 7075 billet, anodised. Single pieces are normal here |
| Classic car restoration | Nothing survives except the worn part itself | Match the original material unless it is what failed; interfaces held, finish matched to the era rather than to a modern catalogue |
Quantity moves the price far more than the industry does. Setup is paid once, so a second identical piece costs a fraction of the first — worth knowing before you order a single spare for a machine that will need another one in two years. Send a drawing, a dimensioned sketch or the part itself; the routes are set out on ordering without CAD and parts from a hand drawing.
On branded parts: what we supply is a compatible component built to fit your application. It is not an original-brand product, carries no third-party trademarks, and implies no affiliation with the original maker.
Yes — most of our work arrives that way. For a quote we need far less than for production: photographs with a rule or caliper in shot, the rough overall size, and what the part has to fit. Precise geometry comes later and is our job, not yours. If the part is worn or in pieces there is a right way to capture it before it goes in a box, and that method is set out step by step on replacement machine parts — read it before you dismantle anything, because some of the information stops existing once the assembly is open.
One piece. A single replacement shaft, one bracket, one adapter — all normal orders here. Per-piece cost falls as quantity rises because setup is shared, so we quote price breaks alongside the single-piece price and you decide where to sit. There is no minimum-value threshold you have to reach before we will quote.
Automotive and motorsport, industrial equipment and machinery, marine and offshore, oil and gas, motorcycle and powersports, classic car restoration, plus precision shafts, gears and fittings that cut across all of them. The industry matters less than the part: if it is a machined metal or plastic component that has to fit something you already own, it is in scope. Each section on this page shows real parts we have produced in that field.
No — and we will tell you when a standard part is what you need. Bearings, seals, belts, chains and standard DIN/ISO fasteners are stocked worldwide at prices no one-off reproduction can match. Custom machining is the right answer when the part carries only a builder's number, is out of production, or falls outside the sizes and materials anyone lists. That boundary is set out in the table above.
Quotes for non-medical parts go back within 12 hours; medical components take up to 48 hours because they route through additional review. Drawings, samples and photographs you send are used only to quote and produce your parts — we can sign your NDA before you send anything, and our standard confidentiality terms are on the NDA page.
