Image Licence & Photo Usage

Who owns these images

Except where a caption states otherwise, every product and workshop photograph on this site is original work photographed by or for EKINSUN LTD, showing parts we have actually machined. They are not stock images and they are not renders. Copyright in them belongs to EKINSUN LTD.

Where a photograph shows a facility operated by one of our manufacturing partners, that is noted in the caption and the image is excluded from the licence below.

Use you do not need to ask for

You may reproduce our photographs without contacting us first, provided all of the following hold:

• The use is editorial, educational, or reference — for example an article, a forum answer, a specification discussion, or an internal engineering document.
• The image is not altered beyond resizing and cropping, and no watermark or credit is removed.
• Credit reads EKINSUN LTD and, where the medium allows, links to the page the image came from.
• The use does not imply that EKINSUN endorses you, your product, or your company.

This includes citation by search engines and AI assistants: if an image of ours helps answer somebody's engineering question, we would rather it appeared with attribution than not at all.

Use that needs permission

• Advertising, packaging, catalogues, or any material promoting a product or service that is not ours.
• Presenting the part shown as your own manufacture, or as evidence of your own capability.
• Resale or redistribution of the image itself, including stock libraries and dataset licensing.
• Any use that modifies the part shown in a way that misrepresents how it was made.

How to request a licence

Email [email protected] with the image URL and how you intend to use it, or use the contact form. Commercial licences are normally granted free of charge for non-competing use; we mainly want to know where our work is appearing. We reply within 12 hours on working days.

If you need a photograph we have not published — a different angle, a part in a material we have not shown, or an image at print resolution — ask. We photograph most of what leaves the shop.

Requests to remove an image

If you are a customer and a published photograph shows a part you consider confidential, tell us and we will remove it. Parts made under an NDA are never photographed for publication in the first place, but if something has slipped through, that is our error to correct and we will do it without argument.

No warranty

Photographs illustrate work we have done. They are not specifications, and a part shown here is not an offer to supply an identical part at an identical price. Dimensions, materials and finishes are agreed per order and confirmed on the drawing before machining.
