A solar storage product has 3–5 separate enclosures, each with their own tooling cost of $2,000–$6,000+. A dimensional error in one affects the interface fit with others — a controller housing that mounts 2 mm off-axis means the display panel it connects to needs a mold revision too.

Prototyping all enclosures simultaneously as a matched set lets you verify the complete assembly before cutting a single tool. We manufacture all enclosures in the same batch, assemble the complete structural set, and verify every inter-enclosure interface before shipping.

Submit CAD or describe the design

Upload CAD files, or describe the enclosures and send photos. We build CAD for enclosures that don't yet have it.

DFM review — all enclosures

We review every enclosure for machining feasibility: wall thickness, vent slot geometry, mounting boss heights, sealing groove dimensions.

Machine and finish the full set

All enclosures machined from ABS or ASA block (CNC) or cast in UV-stable resin (vacuum casting). Same batch.

Assemble and verify inter-enclosure fit

All enclosures assembled and checked — mounting interfaces, panel gaps, connector alignments — before shipping.

Test with electronics and iterate

You integrate electronics and test the assembly. Corrections go back to the CAD; revised enclosures manufactured for the second prototype iteration.

Move to production tooling — all enclosures

Approved prototype CAD is used directly for injection mold tooling across all enclosures. Simultaneous tooling possible.

We recommend all enclosures simultaneously to verify the complete assembly. If enclosures are truly independent modules, they can be prototyped separately.

CNC-machined ABS or ASA prototypes are suitable for 6–12 month field trials. Vacuum cast prototypes are better for indoor functional testing.
