Around every solar installation sits a layer of metalwork the component catalogues do not cover — and it is where a large share of our solar enquiries actually land. A compact all-in-one solar power kit — integrating a 10 W solar panel, 18650 battery pack and controller in a single weatherproof unit — is a good example of the product type we make structural parts for. The electronics, cells and panel are bought-in components. The structural shell is what we manufacture:

FRONT OUTER SHELL

Flat-panel front housing with solar panel lip and glazing frame. Carbon fibre texture, UV-stable ASA or ABS. Approx 27 × 26 × 1.5 cm.

BACK HOUSING

Deep-draw rear enclosure forming the battery compartment — cell dividers, PCB mounting bosses and cable routing. IP66 sealing groove.

CONTROLLER SECTION

Integrated controller/BMS housing within the back shell — PCB standoffs, thermal clearances, connector cutouts for USB-A / USB-C / DC plugs.

MOUNTING BRACKET INTERFACE

Wall and bracket mount features moulded into the back housing — keyhole slots, M-bolt boss clusters, binding-strap channels.

What we do not supply: the solar cells, 18650 battery cells, BMS PCB, or controller electronics. Those are your bought-in components. We manufacture only the structural enclosures that house them — to your design or reverse-engineered from a reference unit. See the from-sample process →

Solar energy storage products are often in active development — CAD may be incomplete, outdated, or non-existent. We work with whatever starting point you have:

You review the dimensional drawing for each enclosure and housing. We adjust until every feature matches your intent. No production until you approve.

Manufacture & assemble

CNC machining for prototypes and aluminium parts. Injection molding for plastic production runs. Final assembly and fit verification before shipment.

Standard indoor and light-outdoor enclosures. Good impact resistance, easy to machine and mold. Cost-effective for prototypes and small runs.

ASA

UV-stabilised alternative to ABS for outdoor solar installations. Maintains colour and impact strength under prolonged sun exposure.

Polycarbonate

Clear display windows and high-impact panel covers. Excellent optical clarity and temperature resistance.

Aluminium 6061

Machined chassis, heatsink-integrated enclosures and structural frames requiring thermal performance and tighter tolerances. Where the fin field carries the load rather than the case wall, it becomes an aluminium heat sink in its own right.
