Deep-hole drilled and precision-ground pump shafts for centrifugal and positive displacement pumps in upstream and downstream oil and gas.
Precision keyway shafts for pump and compressor drives. Machined from 4140 or 17-4 PH stainless; heat treatment on request.
Custom thread adapters for connecting metric, BSP and NPT fittings in process pipework. 316L stainless as standard; alloy steel on request.
Precision sensor and instrument fittings for pressure, temperature and flow instrumentation in oil and gas process lines.
All EKINSUN parts are subject to dimensional inspection and traceability. Material certs (3.1 certificates) available on request for critical applications.
Oil and gas production, processing and distribution impose strict requirements: high pressures, corrosive media (H₂S, CO₂, chlorides), cyclic mechanical loading, high temperatures and remote locations where field failures are expensive. CNC machined parts in this sector must be made from the right material, machined to tight tolerances, and traceable to material certification standards. EKINSUN manufactures to these requirements across upstream, midstream and downstream applications.
Material traceability for oil & gas. For critical applications we supply EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates, heat number traceability and dimensional inspection reports. Specify your certification requirement in the enquiry and we will confirm scope.
Common scenarios where oil and gas maintenance teams, OEMs and procurement managers contact EKINSUN.
Send us the worn impeller or OEM drawing. We machine a replacement from 316L, duplex 2205 or 4140 depending on the process fluid — blade profile, bore and hub to exact spec. Typical lead time 2–4 weeks. EN 10204 3.1 certs available.
Cross-standard thread adapters in 316L or duplex stainless — NPT to metric, BSP to NPT, any combination. We machine to your drawing or specification list. Batch of 200 in 4 weeks. Material certs and dimensional inspection reports standard.
We supply pump OEMs with impellers, wear rings, shaft sleeves and valve internals on a recurring basis. Duplex, super duplex, Inconel, 4140 — any material. EN 10204 3.1 certificates and heat number traceability as standard. OEM supply from 20 pcs/quarter.
Obsolete valve bodies, pump sleeves and instrument fittings reproduced from worn originals. We reverse-engineer from the sample, rebuild the drawing, confirm critical dimensions with you, and machine in the correct material. The sample is enough to start.
EKINSUN LTD is a custom parts manufacturer in Guangdong, China, machining pump, valve, instrument and downhole components to drawing or from a worn sample. On oil and gas work the material decision is settled before anything is cut — and it is settled by you, not by us. This is what the enquiry needs to state, and what each line actually changes.
| What the enquiry must state | Why it decides the part | What we do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Service classification — sour or sweet, referenced to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 | Acceptance for sour service is not a property of the alloy on its own: H2S partial pressure, temperature, in-situ pH and chloride content are assessed together | We do not make this call. Sour-service material selection is your process engineering responsibility — we machine to the grade and limits you specify |
| Material grade — e.g. 316/316L, duplex 2205, 4140, 4340, alloy 625 | ISO 15156-2 covers carbon and low-alloy steels; ISO 15156-3 covers stainless, duplex and nickel-based alloys | Sourced to the stated grade with mill traceability, or machined from material you supply |
| Hardness cap — with the unit (HRC, HBW or HV) | The cap applies to base metal, weld metal and the heat-affected zone, not only the finished surface | Machining and any heat treatment controlled to the stated cap; the measured value is reported back |
| Certificate level — EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 | 3.1 is issued by the manufacturer's own inspection function; 3.2 requires countersignature by an independent party present during production | 3.1 available — state the scope in the enquiry. 3.2 cannot be added after the parts are made — raise it before production so we can confirm whether it can be met |
| Heat number traceability — required or not | Ties the finished part back to one specific melt | Heat number recorded and carried onto the certificate |
| Dimensional inspection report — required or not | Decides whether critical dimensions are measured and recorded individually or sampled | Report supplied listing critical dimensions against your drawing |
| Nothing but a worn part — no drawing, no grade, no spec sheet | The usual case on obsolete pump internals, valve trim and legacy instrument fittings where the OEM is gone | Send the sample — we measure it and rebuild the geometry. The material and any sour-service duty still have to be confirmed by you before cutting |
Two things this table deliberately does not do: it gives you no H2S, temperature or pH limits, and it does not tell you which alloy to pick. Those come from the standard and from your own process data — a machine shop that hands you a number for either is guessing with your plant. What we do own is everything after the grade is fixed: machining to your drawing or your worn sample in 4140, duplex, 316L or nickel alloy, at the certification level you asked for, including parts rebuilt from a sample when the drawing no longer exists. Send the drawing or the part and you get a quote within 12 hours.
