CNC Machined Parts for Oil & Gas Applications
Oil and gas production, processing and distribution impose strict requirements: high pressures, corrosive media (H₂S, CO₂, chlorides), cyclic mechanical loading, high temperatures and remote locations where field failures are expensive. CNC machined parts in this sector must be made from the right material, machined to tight tolerances, and traceable to material certification standards. EKINSUN manufactures to these requirements across upstream, midstream and downstream applications.
Materials for Oil & Gas Parts
- 316L / 316 Stainless Steel — the baseline material for corrosion-resistant instrumentation fittings, sensor housings and process connections. PREN ~24 in seawater-exposed environments — acceptable for most onshore/mild offshore service.
- Duplex 2205 / Super Duplex 2507 — for high-chloride environments (subsea, high-salinity produced water); PREN >35 for 2205, >40 for 2507. We machine both grades on request.
- 4140 / 4340 Alloy Steel — pump shafts, valve bodies, drill collars and downhole tooling where high yield strength and toughness are required; heat-treated and surface-treated (nickel, chrome, phosphate) as needed.
- Inconel 625 / 718 — for high-temperature, high-corrosion applications (flare tips, wellhead parts, downhole tools in HPHT wells); expensive to machine but chemically inert to virtually all produced fluids.
- PTFE / PEEK — for valve seats, seals and insulators where chemical resistance is paramount and metal-to-metal contact is to be avoided.

- Replacement parts from sample — obsolete pump components, valve internals and fittings reproduced from worn originals when OEM drawings are unavailable
- Downhole tooling components — mandrels, centralizers, packers and fishing tool parts in 4140 or 4340
