Where the Hydraulic Fitting Catalogue Stops

Common JIC, ORFS and NPT combinations are stocked by every hose shop and you should buy those. These are the ones that reach us instead.

JIC 37° male × NPT male, common size	Stocked	Buy it off the shelf. Every hose shop carries it and it will be cheaper than anything we turn.
JIC 37° one end × metric M port the other	Rare	Imported machine into a US hose assembly, or the reverse. The 37° cone is cut on our end, the metric port to your pitch.
ORFS face O-ring × BSPT taper	No	Two different sealing principles on one part — a flat face carrying an O-ring against a thread that seals on itself. Both machined on one bar.
SAE O-ring boss × anything not SAE	Thin	The boss seat and its chamfer are cut to the ORB spec on our end, whatever standard goes on the other.
An obsolete machine port with no part number	No	Measured from the fitting you send, or from the port itself if the fitting is gone.
Bore sized so it does not restrict flow	No	Catalogue adapters have one bore. We open it to suit the line rather than the thread.
