Hydraulic systems fail in awkward ways: a cracked adapter on old machinery, a fitting that converts two standards no supplier carries, or a connector the OEM no longer makes. With the line down, you can't wait weeks. EKINSUN machines hydraulic adapters and fittings built for the working pressure, to spec or from the broken one you have.
Tell us the fitting on each end and the system pressure, or send the old part — we reproduce it in the right steel and seal type.

| Concern | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Working pressure | Material and wall section chosen for the rated pressure; steel for high-pressure lines |
| Seal geometry | 37° cone (JIC), face O-ring (ORFS), O-ring boss (SAE), taper (NPT/BSPT) machined precisely |
| Material | Carbon/alloy steel (often zinc-plated) or 316 stainless for corrosion/marine |
| Bore | Sized to avoid restricting flow |
Each of those seal families seals in a different place, and on a one-off part the sealing feature — not the thread — is what decides whether the joint holds. Custom sealed metal parts — every sealing form we cut, and how we prove contact before dispatch.
Need a BSP to NPT adapter specifically? See BSP to NPT adapters — BSPP or BSPT, any size, brass or 316 stainless. Not sure if you have BSPP or BSPT? See the BSPP vs BSPT guide. For simpler thread conversions (air, water, fuel): thread adapters. For AN, NPT and metric fuel-line conversions specifically: automotive fuel line thread adapters. Whole part obsolete? We reproduce from a sample.
Pressure-critical note. Hydraulic fittings are safety items — confirm the working pressure and standard with us so we specify the right material and seal. We make a compatible fitting to the original's form, fit and function, without implying affiliation with the original manufacturer.

Common JIC, ORFS and NPT combinations are stocked by every hose shop and you should buy those. These are the ones that reach us instead.
| What you need | In the catalogue? | How we machine it |
|---|---|---|
| JIC 37° male × NPT male, common size | Stocked | Buy it off the shelf. Every hose shop carries it and it will be cheaper than anything we turn. |
| JIC 37° one end × metric M port the other | Rare | Imported machine into a US hose assembly, or the reverse. The 37° cone is cut on our end, the metric port to your pitch. |
| ORFS face O-ring × BSPT taper | No | Two different sealing principles on one part — a flat face carrying an O-ring against a thread that seals on itself. Both machined on one bar. |
| SAE O-ring boss × anything not SAE | Thin | The boss seat and its chamfer are cut to the ORB spec on our end, whatever standard goes on the other. |
| An obsolete machine port with no part number | No | Measured from the fitting you send, or from the port itself if the fitting is gone. |
| Bore sized so it does not restrict flow | No | Catalogue adapters have one bore. We open it to suit the line rather than the thread. |
| Bulkhead or extra-long body through a panel | No | Body length cut to your plate thickness with a lock-nut face. |
| 316 stainless rather than zinc-plated steel | Rare | Standard hydraulic adapters are plated carbon steel. 316 for marine, offshore and chemical duty. |
| Left-hand thread on either end | No | Not a catalogue item in any hydraulic standard. |
Sealing forms above are the four this page already covers: 37° cone (JIC), face O-ring (ORFS), O-ring boss (SAE) and taper (NPT/BSPT).
Yes — machined from carbon/alloy steel or 316 stainless with the correct wall section and sealing geometry for the working pressure. Tell us the pressure and the fittings on each end.
JIC 37° flare, ORFS, SAE ORB, BSPP, BSPT, NPT and metric — male or female, straight, elbow, tee, bulkhead and swivel, including conversions between them.
Yes — send the old fitting (even damaged) and we measure the threads, bore, cone and seal faces, rebuild the drawing free, then machine a compatible replacement. No part number or CAD needed.
Yes — e.g. JIC to ORFS, BSPP to JIC, NPT to SAE ORB. We machine the correct sealing feature on each end so both sides seal as designed.
From single pieces and prototypes up to small/medium runs. No tooling cost on machined fittings, so a one-off repair fitting is welcome.
