Most real-world parts need more than one process — a shaft gets turned, then milled for a keyway; a housing gets milled, then EDM'd for a sharp internal corner. Because everything runs in our own shop, you place one order and get one accountable supplier, instead of splitting a drawing package across three vendors.
Shafts, bushings, adapters, threaded parts and fittings up to Ø300 mm — single pieces to repeat batches.
CNC turning service →Brackets, housings, manifolds, plates and heat sinks on 3- and 4-axis machining centers.
CNC milling service →Hardened parts, sharp internal corners, dies and fixtures that cutting tools can't reach.
EDM machining →Metric, imperial, fine, ACME, tapered and left-hand threads — gauged with go/no-go before shipping.

| Feature | Standard | On drawing callout |
|---|---|---|
| General tolerances | DIN ISO 2768-m | 2768-f or per-dimension limits |
| Turned fits | IT7 | to ±0.01 mm — h6 shaft seats, press fits |
| Threads | 6g/6H, gauge-checked | fine pitch, custom pitch, left-hand |

Threads are checked with go/no-go gauges and fits with calibrated instruments; the details of our measuring chain are on the tolerance & inspection page. You approve the production drawing before we cut — so what arrives matches what you signed off.
Aluminum 6061 for general parts and 7075 where strength matters, both anodizable. Stainless 304, 316 for marine and chemical exposure, and free-machining 303. Carbon steels 12L14 and C45, alloy steel 4140/42CrMo4 quenched and tempered. Plus brass C360, bronze, titanium Gr5 and the engineering plastics POM/Delrin, PEEK and PTFE. Material certificates to EN 10204 3.1 ship with the parts on request — see the full materials overview.
PDF drawing with STEP/DXF is fastest — but a dimensioned hand sketch, photos with a caliper in frame, or the physical part in a padded envelope all work. No CAD? Here's exactly how that goes.
With volume price breaks, a binding delivery date, and any certificates or reports you asked for listed as line items.
For sketch and sample orders we produce the production drawing free of charge — nothing is machined until you approve it.
Turning, milling, EDM, threads, surface finishing and heat treatment in-house; 100% inspection against the approved drawing.
DHL/FedEx to the US and Europe in 3–7 days, DDP available. Reorders reference your drawing number and repeat identically.
CNC machining has no mold and no die: the cost is programming + setup + run time + material. Two consequences worth knowing before you ask for a quote. First, one piece is genuinely affordable — you pay setup once, not for tooling. Second, from roughly 20 pieces the setup share per part falls off fast, which is why every EKINSUN quote shows price breaks at several quantities instead of a single number. If a feature is expensive — a needlessly tight tolerance, a deep thin pocket — we say so and propose the cheaper version before you order, not after. For small-batch strategies, see low-MOQ custom parts and the guide to reading a CNC quote.
A local machine shop wins when you need same-week turnaround or the part must never leave the building. We win on three kinds of orders: small batches a domestic shop won't slot in (1–500 pieces, multiple positions, mixed materials), parts without proper CAD data — sketches, photos, worn samples that platforms' instant-quote engines reject — and price-sensitive repeat work, where factory-direct pricing plus documented QC (3.1 certs, dimensional reports) beats a marketplace's quote by a wide margin. Many customers use both: local for emergencies, EKINSUN for everything that can wait two weeks. Ordering from China for the first time? Read what to expect and how your design stays protected.
Replacing a part instead of designing one? If the original is worn, broken or discontinued, start at reverse engineering or replacement parts — send the sample, we measure it, you approve the drawing, we machine the replacement.
Day to day our machines run parts for industrial equipment, automotive, marine, oil & gas and classic-car restoration customers — mostly shafts, gears, bushings and fittings that are unavailable off the shelf or too expensive locally.
DIN ISO 2768-m standard (2768-f on request); toleranced features to the drawing — turned fits to ±0.01 mm, threads gauge-checked, Ra 0.8 finish where specified, all documented in a dimensional report.
Turned parts to Ø300 mm; milled parts on 3-/4-axis centers. For oversized parts, send the drawing — we confirm feasibility before you commit.
Programming + setup + run time + material, no tooling charge. One piece is affordable; from ~20 pieces the per-part price drops sharply. Every quote shows breaks at several quantities.
PDF drawing ideally with STEP/DXF. Without CAD: a dimensioned sketch, photos with a caliper, or the physical sample — we draft the production drawing free and you approve it first.
ISO 9001:2015 shop, 100% inspection against the approved drawing, thread gauges and calibrated instruments, EN 10204 3.1 certs, dimensional reports and first articles on request.
Quote in 24 h, machining typically 5–10 working days, express shipping 3–7 days, DDP available. The date on the quote is binding.
Drawing, sketch, photo or sample — an engineer replies within 24h with prices and a delivery date.
Turning, milling, EDM and threads from one factory. Send your drawing, sketch or sample — a machining engineer answers within 24 hours.
